Creating a new Derived Template is as simple as creating a new Info Item as a child to the system Templates Info Item.

 

You can rename the template (the name of a template is associated with the Template Name Attribute value).  The Item Title Attribute value is the default title of new Info Items based on this new Template.

 

Note: Derived Templates can be derived from other Derived Templates, allowing you to create a hierarchy in your defined templates.
