Item Notes (Control + 5)

Greetings!

I could not find in the help file an answer to a question I have about Item Notes, and I am not sure if this problem is solved in the 4.0 beta.

I often attach Item Notes to various items, but there does not seem to be any option to click on to show which items have Item Notes attached and which do not. If this feature is not now available, I hope it could somehow be included in 4.0, if it's not too late to make suggestions.

Perform an Advanced Search of Item Notes exists. You can also add Item Notes as a column in Search Results.

OK, but ...

Thanks Kinook for your quick reply.

I was hoping for something more along this line: when I am in a particular Item on the Tree, there would be some indication, some icon, whatever, that would pop up / flash / turn a certain color, whatever, that would indicate this item has an Item Note attached. It is time-consuming to run a search for Item Notes.

Just a thought. Maybe this feature could be included in future versions. Thanks, again.

I understand that using a column "Item Notes" solves anyform your problem (in the Childs Item Panel).

Its create a column of Item Notes. If the Item has Note ==> it show the initial; if not, it is empty.

Thumbs up Item Notes Indicator in the Tree? * Show Item Notes = Ctrl + 5

Very helpful tips. Thanks!

However, I too vote for an "Item Notes" indicator in the tree.

Thanks,
Metta
