http://www.kinook.com/UR/Manual/index.htm?hoisting.htm In the Data Explorer select any Item, then Tree | Hoist, this will make the selected Item the "temporary root" for the tree. Or, you can select an Item in the Tree and Ctrl-Enter (Open in new Tab). Both methods seem to allow you to narrow the focus of a large tree structure. With Hoisting this narrowing of focus takes place in the Data Explorer, thru the use of Tabs it's almost as if you've set a marker in the Tree. The part that I find confusing is the third paragraph from the Help file: Each tab can be hoisted to a different location... What is this referring to? |
