Save As .mht in UR browser

Because UR is somewhat erratic when importing certain webpages (e.g., Wikipedia pages), UR users often are forced to access IE in order to save webpages as .mht files, which are then imported into UR.

A recent thread discussed this issue in depth (UR's somewhat inadequate webpage capturing ability), with Kinook promising they would investigate the problem, but I was wondering if Kinook could tell us if there is any definite plan to tweak UR to enable webpages to be saved as .mht files from within the UR brower.

That is, after you access a certain webpage, you find out that it doesn't import adequately, so UR gives you the option to save the file as a .mht. I couldn't find this mentioned on the roadmap, but it certainly would be a nice time-saving feature.

I don't believe there's any support for automating IE's save as MHT functionality from an embedded instance of IE. And most other browsers don't natively support MHT format (for external viewing).

Have Mercy!

Kinook, I take your post to be a roundabout of saying no to my simple question. How about this exchange?

Me: Are Kinook programmers going to tweak UR so that when IE is used as the UR browser, users will be able to save files in the .mht format?

Kinook: No, they aren't. At least not this year. Capice?

Me: Yes, I understand completely. Take care.

No, we don't have any plans to do that.
