AV described

Had a document type item open, one of several tabs. Item was part of a reminder list & resided in related pane. <ALT>M move item from pane to different location. Move was effected but display of item remained in detail pane. When I closed this tab, URp started looping, i.e. cursor started blinking as tho it were repeating function continuously. Trying to break the looping results in an AV. When this happens, only solution is to Task Mgr -> End process & restart URp.

Edited 09/22/07 06:50 pm - I have now isolated some of this on my system at least. This problem is connected to a document import form. Every time I focus on one of these guys in a multiple tab situation & close the tab representing the document import form, the looping occurs. To date this has not happened in any text form.

R.3.2.3 AVI from html

1 tabbed window open containing automated search function

copied & saved special html to URp
clicked on item to view it; html ok
closed tab via "x"
Cursor started blinking in convulsion in a function loop of some kind

had to close URp via TM

v3.2.4.1 AV

Several tabs open including
http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?p=28811#28811

When I attempt to close tab, cursor goes into convulsions, i.e. blinking & becomes useless. Attempting to exit from error causes:
Exception OxC0000005
Address: Ox2DEE3303

It appears to me that this only happens w certain kind of sites, secure or those that require passwords, i..e some forums.

Maybe it's connected to some setting or combination of settings that I have.

UR has to be halted via TM processes

I got affected by this issue too today (3.4.1). I have a DB info item where UR goes into a fit when I close a tab. Please watch your support inbox for the DB file for you to inspect.

What kind of info item did you have in that tab & what was the next tab, i.e. the next one that UR was going to jump to. Thanks.

I sent my DB, trace files, and scenario to Kinook. It is reproducible and should be evident to their support. Hope they get out a fix soon.

It happened to me after copying a parent item and its children from one DB to another. The parent item detail pane had links pointing to the children. After the copy, all these links started pointing to different items (none of the children). I then deleted the link and recreated them. As I opened them in separate tabs, attempting to close them caused the erratic behavior you observed.

The issue resulted from the changes Kinook made today and yesterday since this issue does not occur when I used the 3.2.1 release.

Thanks for the repro information, cnewtonne. We were able to reproduce this behavior and it's fixed in the latest download (v3.2.4.2).
