Improved editor

A few extras that would make the UR editor much easier to use:
  • checkboxes
  • editable tables (so you can add rows/columns after creating the table)
  • headings (especially if you could create them with keyboard shortcuts)

Checkboxes are not supported in RTF, but for tables, you can add rows by pressing Tab while in the bottom right cell. To add columns, open externally (Ctrl+J) in Word or LibreOffice and add the column, then save and resume internal editing in UR (Ctrl+Shift+0).

By headings, do you mean styles (Ctrl+Shift+Y)?

Kludgy, but good.

Well, I've only owned the program since about 2005, so you have to allow time for me to learn these things...

(It would still be nice to have a sleeker editor, though, with formatting like headings available from the keyboard. And checkboxes. I do like checkboxes.)

You could insert both a blank square and a checked square into the editor using the Windows emoji keyboard (Win + .)
