Reports

I have searched through this forum and the Suggestions forum and I can't seem to find any suggestions or questions dealing with reporting based on the data available in UR (except for the tag cloud suggestion, bleh ).

Which is somewhat surprising to me, as I intend to use it mainly as a PIM application. It'd be nice to be able to make all kinds of cool reports based on the information I add.

Right now I can think of one example:
- How productive am I being? How many tasks / appointments do i complete on average per week? Maybe a nice graph which shows this from week 1-52 throughout the year.

This thread is mostly to spur some discussion as I'm curious if there are others that have a desire in this direction or if I've missed threads dealing with this.

well, just do a required search and "copy attribute values" in the child pane and paste to excel where you can do whatever you want ... I graph my UR "activity" this way ...

it would be nice if some parts of this could be available natively inside UR, but I can imagine thousands of silly requests to change the graph colour or whatever that would hinder the real development of UR ;-)

Well - I guess tag clouds are a kind of report. Never thought of it that way. Don't agree with the 'Bleh' though.

Actually - with the related panes I do get some kind of quasi-rudimentary reporting.

But I agree, it would be nice to have robust reporting within URP3.

But exporting to CSV makes pretty much any flat-file report I want available via Excel.

Regards,
Bal
