Losing icon

I have a template that I created based on the Text template. It has its own icon but sometimes items based on it change back to the icon for the text template. I haven't been clever enough to see it happen, but I think it's after I've opened the item using Open Document to view it in Wordpad. I've watched as I save the Wordpad document and then click on the Click here to resume internal editing link but it doesn't happen right away.

Any idea how to stop this?

When the icon is incorrect, has the template for the item also reverted to the Text template? When it occurs, does Shift+F5 (full refresh) restore it or does it remain the Text template icon?

No, the template icon sticks as it was. Shift+F5 doesn't restore the icon; it remains as the Text template icon.

The icon changed in two items some time after I'd edited them. Both were showing the proper icon until I viewed a few other items and opened and closed another tab.

Here's what I've been able to repeat:

Open Document
Edit document in Wordpad
Save document in Wordpad
Close Wordpad
Resume internal editing
Click on another item (2 up) in tree
Open another tab from button on tab bar
Open a favourite in this new tab from favourites toolbar
Hoist
Close tab
Click on original tab (I had two open originally)
Open tree to look at the item I'd edited in the tree: icon has changed to text template icon

These are probably not the minimum steps necessary to repeat the behaviour.

We have been unable to reproduce this behavior. Please ZIP and send or post:
1) The info from Help | About | Install Info
2) Run RegEdit and export the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kinook Software\Ultra Recall\Options"
3) A sample .urd file and detailed steps to demonstrate the problem

Thanks.
