stored versus linked documents

It would be great if documents that are stored versus just linked could look different in the data explorer. I know that there's the little "stored" icon, which looks depressed depending the case. And I know I can manually set a flag or another icon.

But in my workflow, whether something's stored or linked is important. And something more automatic would be quite useful.

I think this recommendation can be generalized to a request for rules/actions. I'm drawing on Zoot as an example. It would be great to say that any item that matches a particular search condition should be "acted upon", i.e. have its icon changed or its flag set, etc.
