Importing Emails from Outlook

When I copied an email from Outlook to UR, the email content doesn't show in the Item Details Pane, even when the email extension have been included under the MIME viewer. I still have to click the link to open the message. Is it because I'm using Outlook 2000?

Yes, it appears there is a problem with importing from Outlook 2000 (the contents can still be stored, but retrieval of keywords and internal viewing doesn't work). Outlook XP and 2003 do work correctly. We will be investigating the problem.

I have outlook 2003, and for email I import into UR, I see in the MIME text "Attachments : xyz.pdf ..." but the attachments are not clickable and I don't see clickable attachments in any other pain (ideally it would be auto added as a child right ?).

Are you sure it works in outlook 2003 ?

Outlook 2003 works in our tests, and if it's showing attachment filenames in the mime viewer, it sounds like it's working for you too. The internal mime viewer doesn't currently provide clickable/draggable access to the message attachments (nor does UR add them as child items): http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthread.php?threadid=756

Ultra Recall version 1.3b has been enhanced to work consistently with Outlook 97/2000 as well as later versions (resolving the issue reported earlier in this thread). Existing users of Ultra Recall can simply reinstall the latest download to obtain this capability.
