Question Build Status

Hi,

when generating a Build Log from the XML log file the build status is always "Completed" regardless of any errors that occured during the build in any step.

I do abort an ony build error and send an email in the error handler script.

I use version 5.7

What am I doing wrong?

Bernd

I don't know. It works as expected here (v6 sample attached).

Sample attached

Hi,

there is a sample attached to reproduce the error.

It works before calling the subroutine from the error handler, so I guess calling a subroutine somehow clears the error status.

It does appear that a Transform XML Log action called from a subroutine called from a failure step reports a build status of Completed rather than Failed. We've added this issue to our bug list database.
