Blank icon for items

If I don't use something (often), i don't like it drawing my attention.
That's why I am not happy with the default items "Appointments", "Tasks",... displayed at all times, let alone with nice colorful icons.

To get around that, I move all my own items above these items in order for them to slowly disappear from sight. I also made a blank, transparent icon, imported it (File/Import/Files/Store files contents in Ultra Recall=ON/The Imported Items...=ON)
and assigned it via Item Attributes pane as Icon to these items.

Crazy or useful for you?

Another option would be to move these items to somewhere in your tree that isn't visible. Select the item, Tree | Link/Move To, select another item and, choose Move, and click OK.

As I'm new to UR I was worried what this may do to the app. Since you suggest it, I gather it is totally safe thing to do. That's good to know :-)
I still like the dots icon I did later. I will use that for something :-)

cheers

re: Select the item, Tree | Link/Move To, select another item and, choose Move, and click OK.

When I first tried this approach, what I did wrong was: I only dragged the items to a new folder. Now I see, while dragging the item its icon changes. For some of the items it is a move arrow and for others (e.g. Recycle Bin) it is a plus. Didn't see this before. When some of the items moved and some did not, I decided to stay away from it to be on the safe side.
