import data

Is there an option to add the source for any imported data? So, for example, if I select & copy data from URL 'x', the data will appear as:

Source: URL 'x'

Data

That information shows up in the UR Attribute URL.

You could add the URL Attribute to a Form (of a Document Type Template), then assign the Template as the Default Template for a Folder - the Default Template will be used for all imported Items of the Folder.

Essentially, this brings the URL Attribute "up" from the Item Attribute Pane (Ctrl-4) to the Detail Pane for the Item.

Or maybe I've misunderstood your question.
