Question Recent Changes in calling Subroutines?

Hi,

I've recently opened an old project in VSB 7.6 (latest version) and tried to build it.

Some of the steps call subroutines from tab "Subroutines steps" added to the same loaded project.

Now when running this project it fails while calling any of those subroutines. I investigated and quickly noticed that I cannot select the appropriate subroutine from the drop down box in the steps properties anymore.

I must add that I've grouped the subroutines for better handling and reading.

Only the groups now appear in the subroutines drop down box. This must have changed recently as I could select a single subroutine step in an older VSB release before.

Why this? Is there an hidden option to get this behaviour back?

Nothing has changed in that regard -- it has always been the case that subroutine entry points must be at the root level (no indent).

that's really strange. I did create this project before and it ran well so far until I've updated to a new build of VSB.

If I cannot select the subroutines from the drop down box, only the top-level ones or the groups themselves, how did I get those settings into those properties? I did not type them into.

I will give an older version a try, however, at the very end it is not a problem at all if I cannot select second level subroutines any more. I will move them a level up or call the groups instead.
