Thanks, that is really helpful. I have copied your instructions into Ultra Recall! The biggest stumbling block was the creation of new item attributes - I couldn't figure out why they seemed to be limited to a preset list! Also where to add the Form to the Template... got it now. Is there a practical limit on how many fields can be in a form? Many thanks for your prompt response Bill |

I haven't used more than about 6 or 8 rows, but others have...see

Ok, if I understand correctly, beyond about 17 rows in the form, each of which can include up to 3 columns, you lose the text field which otherwise appears by default below the rows. That doesn't sound like an absolute limit, unless the limit is determined by the Form Editor dialog not allowing more rows. If there is a definitive answer, it would be good to know, otherwsie I'll just make a dummy form sometime and see if I hit a limit.
