Sorting Tabs in the Item Details Pane (plus a question)
It would be nice the ability to sort tabs in the Item Details Pane.
Unrelated Question: Why is UltraRecall's Interface (Explorer Pane Tree) not as responsive as, for example, myBase's one? UR's wonderful Logical Linking feature makes me steer away from myBase, but I don't understand how myBase's interface can be so much more responsive than UltraRecall's: both apps access a DB and do similar things. UR's Interface is simply slow and I don't know if it'll get even slower with increasing size of my DB (which now is just under 4Mb!!!). Maybe it's due to the fact that it saves the DB at every interaction?... I don't know if it's true. |

Have you tried the external repair tool on your database? Two of mine, much larger than yours, were running quite slowly. Just as an experiment, I repaired them and the performance improved noticeably. Another suggestion is to use Kinook's suggested registry tweaks. There are some downsides - undo of changes to the tree is disabled - but that helps too. Jon |

Maybe they're worth trying. By the way, I got used to UR slowlyness, it's just that I didn't expect so big a difference with a very similar tool like myBase. |

I would also like to request the ability to reorder tabs by dragging them. Pretty much every modern web browser supports this functionality. I realize UR isn't primarily a web browser, but it's the same principle.
