import a graphic sans clipboard
There are times I'd like to insert a graphic in an item at the cursor. If I'm copying and pasting from the web, that's not too big a problem since my browser is almost always open. But if the graphic is sitting on my local drive, I have to open an app that supports rendering the graphic, then copy and then paste. And often enough, I don't need the app open. I think it would be nice to be able to browse to a graphics folder and then, as needed, import a graphic into the item (not as a shortcut in the Data Explorer pane.
Hopefully, this is not too difficult to implement. - Bal |

I don't encounter this need often but use the UR option of editing RTF in word as a workaround.
CTL+j (open document in external editor-Word) Insert Picture - opens a file selection dialogue and inserts the file at the cursor. Save and close word and resume internal editing in UR. |

Sure - I can do that, but if I was going to go through that bother, I might as well just open an app like irfanview and do a copy and paste. This is one of those "nice to haves" and is certainly not critically important.
Again - not knowing how difficult technically it is to do it, I would like image files to simply be added to the import dialog. - Bal |
