Problem with 'action cannot be completed'
I have been using UR for some years now with no problem. However an issue has now arisen which is slowing up/ preventing me accessing items as normal.
After starting UR I get the message: "action cannot be completed because other programme is busy. Choose switch to activate the busy programme and correct the problem" When I click Switch the Windows XP start menu pops up. If that is cleared the problem initially disappears but then the message often appears again. This happens even if I am running just one urd file within UR. There are no other applications open within Windows other than a virus checker. I would be grateful for advice on how I can work through steps to solve my problem, Best wishes, John M. |

The message is coming from Windows, not UR itself. Windows must be detecting some other program (could be a background app) that is keeping UR from continuing.
