Linking to UR items from an external app?

Hi

Is it possible to link directly to an UR info item from an outside application?

I have a bunch of short articles that I want to manage from excel. I want to use excel to link to the articles stored somewhere else.

I'm wondering if I can use UR as the storage (if it accepts a link direct to an item)? I know Keynote can do this...

I don't understand what excel has to do w your scenario. Why can't you link those files directly to URp as well as store them in URp?

I see where you're coming from...

The thing is, although you can view Excel within UR, you can't use the UR *internal* linking system then.

You still have to use the external linking system from Excel that Kevin posted even if you view the spreadsheet internally.
