OK, here's another one to ponder

Let's say user has an item that is linked to 3 other items. This means there are now 3 copies. User adds an attribute to one, attribute goes to all. Right so far?

User searches for that attribute, now all linked items appear in search results.

Is there a criteria user can add to clean up the search view so only the main item is 'found'?

Jan, I think only one item would be shown unless you have the 'Parent Title' attribute (and maybe 'Lineage') showing in the search results grid.

That makes sense to me until I ask myself the chicken or egg question, i.e. are the search results produced by search criteria or the form into which it is placed. I think I added either one or both of those attributes to the search results because it got so confusing. I don't remember the # of items increasing @ that point but I'll go back & experiment. Thanks.
