Paste special

Do I have this correctly?

Copy / Paste = link (including children which are also linked)

Copy / Paste special / copy = duplicate with children, no link between original item and duplicate item, but links the children possess are maintained.

Copy / Paste special / duplicate = duplicate with children, no links at any level maintained

Copy / Paste special / copy single = duplicate, no children, no link

----------

I do still struggle understanding Paste special / copy as against Paste special / duplicate.

Copy: all logical links are preserved.

Duplicate: only logical links between duplicated Info Items are preserved.

there seems to be a problem.

Create item which has children that are linked elsewhere. Copy/Paste - this item, it will link the linked items. But if you delete this newly linked item, it will visually change the linked items as if they were not a logical links anymore. But they are still only logical links! Error!

Restarting UR resolves it.

It gets interesting when you copy/paste items that have children. These children will have lineage only to original parent ... they are logically linked in the sense that editing one will change another, but delete one, and the other will be deleted as well, not the case of logically linked items ... interesting
