Inking in UR would be great. Maybe a module like this

or sth like that could be added to UR to provide inking/hand writing recognition capabilities. Maybe it would be enough if UR could display and index (the handwritten notes) of windows journal file (well, if that's even possible ;-) ).
My next laptop is going to be a tablet, and I'm going to face similar problems as you. UR is too good to be replaced by OneNote or Evernote altogether, but I really don't fancy the idea of having too separate databases for my notes
