Following your suggestion, ie, turning off Launch shorts in external browser window by default,
http://www.thefreedictionary.com is opened fine without a glitch.
However, the
http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/sr2.htm?shopid=207 causes the UR crash, which was the purpose of my opening post. The OpenRice seems to attempt opening several Facebook webpages.
The core question here: how to stop all embedded script from running inside UR. Is it possible?
