I'd love to see a bread crumb feature as in Windows Explorer in Vista (or like at the top of the page in these forums), where in the address bar, you can see the immediate parents, eg.

Greatgrandparent > Grandparent > Parent

and you can click on any of them to go to that level. Doesn't need to show Lineage all the way up to the root. Maybe just 3 levels?

Even if the lineage were shown statically (ie, not clickable) in the status bar, that would be helpful, so I wouldn't have to keep the properties window open and set to be very wide in order to see the Lineage.
