While Outlook is maddening in many respects, I have 10+ years of experience with it. Further, I have several Access databases that read my Outlook data for various functions.
I'm hooked and can't imagine leaving Outlook. I have my wife on Thunderbird because all she needs is a simple email client.
Everything in my house is Ubuntu except my business laptop and my wife's laptop. As I develop familiarity with UR, I might switch some function over, but I'm not even close to that.
What I need is to be able to store all my docs (*.pdf, *.doc, *.xls, *.ppt, *.xml, *.mdb) in UR serving as an archive and be able to paste it into an Outlook email message when I have a client that needs it. Now I open the doc, save it to the desktop, and then attach it. I need a cleaner solution.
