Try exiting Firefox and UR, uninstalling UR, then re-downloading and reinstalling UR (checking the Firefox extension). One user indicated that more drastic measures were needed after some extension hosed the entire Firefox extension system:

"...so here's how to help anyone else who is having this problem because uninstalling and reinstalling, normally like most would do, doesn't solve anything. It was a 203 error somewhere in the extension folder and the new Firefox update caught it where others must have missed it (ironically, it only caught it under Win7, not XP, as all contents are exactly the same on both pc's). Just one error in any extension seems to cause all of them to go haywire.

Open the Profiles folder, open the default profile, manually delete
extensions.ini
extensions.cache
extensions.rdf
*if that doesn't work upon restart*....
delete the entire extensions folder & the above 3 items

This will cause you to have to reinstall Firefox & download all the extensions but unless you know exactly what folder/item in the extension folder is causing the problem just deleting the extension. things doesn't work. After that I also had to reinstall URPro. This only gave me the right click option, to get the buttons back you have to manually put them on the toolbar."
