When building a solution, you must specify a valid solution configuration; when building an individual project, you need to specify a valid project configuration. I added a 'Debug-Dev' solution configuration to a VS.NET 2003 solution and the Make VS.NET action was able to build that sol cfg. Are you specifying a valid solution configuration (see the Make VS.NET help topics for more details)? If so, please post the .sln file + .bld file that is building it or send to
