Sometime you want to link an info item as you edit your content in the info details pane (where you enter text). One way to do it is by simply dragging an info item directly to the editor so long you hold 'control' button down to avoid replacing your original content.

Another way to do it specially if you have a long tree or you want to link to many items at the same time is to go to options --> editor --> and check 'create internal link from link/move...' box. Then, focus on the editor using control+2, then do an alt+L to pop-up the link/move box. Now, any item you highlight and click OK will be inserted into the editor as a link (no moves will be take place).
