sure, if there is enough space. in windows explorer in vista if there is not enough space, it shows as many levels that fit and it puts the rest of the lineage in a drop down.

Yes, I would guess that is what Kinook had in mind when designing UR. I like using linking for some things, attributes for other things. They just need to figure out how to better bridge the gap...
