E-Mail Setup
 

I am in the process of setting up a new Build server, and eventually will be using VBP to Build.

What do I have to have on the server to send e-mail. We use Exchaneg.

Not much, just configure an email account that works with any typical SMTP email client (such as Outlook Express) and use those same settings/credentials in the Send Mail step in Visual Build Professional and it should work just fine.

I read the thread above but am not sure what to do to get VBP running with our exchange server.

Can you specifiy more precisely what is to be done?

Enter the SMTP server's name or IP address in the Mail server field, the port it listens on in the Port field (SMTP default port is 25), the correct Username/Password/Domain if required by your server.
