Table: Add or remove a row in middle?

Hi!
When I insert a table (Menu Bar/Format/Insert Table), I don't see any way to add a row, except to the bottom of the table (using the Tab key). Is there a way to add/delete a row into the middle of the table or to add/delete a column, pls?

Many thanks in advance!

Best,
Karel

To delete a row, select it by clicking to the left of the row and press Delete.

To insert a row in the middle or add/remove columns, you would need to edit externally (Ctrl+J) in Word or another RTF editor.

Adding a row in middle of a table ...

Move mouse cursor to past the last cell of a row then hit enter. A new row will create.

Adding a column, you have to rely on external editors as described.

Thanks for this advice (and the useful image). :) It's easy to perform and works fine.

Stumbled upon this trick by accident. If you want to create a table using the keyboard, type this string ...

+-+-+[ENTER]

Will create a row with two columns.
