calendar drop down in date attributes. Thanks for your consideration.

If you press Alt+C while in the date field, you will get a popup calendar. Select the date and press enter and the value is inserted into the attribute value.

Thanks Chris. I guess this is a case of inconsistency. In a form, clicking on date will reveal drop down menu. I was expecting the same thing in attributes as data entry was identical & forgot about calling calendar pane. That'll work but what do you think about making the date entry consistent?

Consistency would be good - although I am so used to using the calendar popup from versions before forms that I prefer it to the dropdown and actually miss it when I am entering data into a form.

Perhaps an option could be set to prefer the popup/pane or the dropdown calendar.
