Inheriting Icons?
 

Hi

I was wondering if sibling items could inherit icons from parent items? By default UR is not displaying such behaviour. This can be very helpful when reorganizing requires shuffling items to different branches. Thus items will retain their icon identity even thou they are under different item at that point. I know I can select and organize icons manually but that is not very convenient for what I need.

Default icons like projects, contacts retain icon relationships but items with custom icons does not behave in that way.

Not sure if this will be helpful...

If you want a default icon value for a Child Item, create a Template that describes the Child Item and assign this Template as the Default Child Template for the Parent Item.

New Child Items will take on the properties of the Template.
