Business Model

Would Kinook be interested in supporting individuals/companies who want to market UR with a custom set of templates for specific markets, i.e. vertical marketing.

This post was not intended to be a specific request, but to generate some thoughts on reselling, licensing, Trade Mark issues (e.g. Ultra Recall - Realtor's Version, Ultra Recall - Project Manger's Version,...), a Kinook's seal of approval on vertically marketed packages, and other ideas and issues.

We at Kinook Software also believe that Ultra Recall can be a very productive tool in various business markets, and we are very interested in exploring these "vertical" markets as development on Ultra Recall continues.

Several features on our "todo" list, such as custom forms, will only enhance the suitability of Ultra Recall in these markets...

We are not opposed to third-parties selling add-ons (template databases, etc) for Ultra Recall, but at this point we do not have plans to produce variants of the base product under a different label (or as a specialized version).

If you have specific ideas on this type of marketing or want to submit a proposal related to this type of marketing, please email Kinook Software @ sales@kinook.com.

I agree. Once this is done, it will be very easy to provide turnkey solutions to all sorts of needs and markets. UR is akin to having a canvas and paint brush; such wonderful things can be created from it. Things that we have not imagined yet.
