limit of importing files

Hello,
I use UR 3.0 and wanted to import a lot of files.
Suddenly the import stopped UR di not hang)
After trying to import the remaining files or to import fils in another database a received a message box
"There are still other files to import"

Okay I deleted the contents of the key "selfile" in the Registry and could go on.
My question is there a limit for files to be imported for an import session?
thank you and regards
Hartmut

Did you select/enter each filename to import or the folder containing the files to import? How many files did you select?

In the Import wizard, there is a limit on how many files can be selected at one time in the Browse dialog, and there is also some upper limit to how much text can be entered in the Files to import field, but either way, continuing from there to actually import should process whatever has been entered.

I don't know where the 'There are still other files to import' message could be coming from (I'm pretty sure it couldn't originate from UR itself).

Typically, you would select a folder to import recursively from to import many files (rather than selecting/entering each filename). The upper limit on how many files UR can process in this case would be limited primarily by free disk space available for the .urd file to grow.

I selected in he import dialog as file type *.htm
as in the folder there are a lot of other files types.
Then I selected all, well it were about 6.000.
the message box was partially in english, and what I wrote was in german and is a translation from me. As the names of the files to be imported are stored in the registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kinook Software\Ultra Recall\Settings\ImportDlg\Sets]

"SelFiles"="D:\\Urlaub\\Spanien\\revistaiberica\\www.revistaiberica.com"

the limitation may be set be the registry and the length of the files names.
ragrds
