import web page

Hello, in the Import window select Source there is the possibility to check web page.
The i must insert the respective URL.
As I sometimes download total web pages with meta products offline explorer I want to import these web pages into Ultra Recall.
I know that i can import the respective folder with the respective sub folders, but that i have no links in UR.
I tried the import with file:// instead of with http:// but this does not work.
Is there a solution please ?
I do the download not directly in UR as in Mete Explorer i have more options.
Thank you

You can use the http://127.0.0.1:800/Default/www..com/index.html style url specified in Meta Products Offline Explorer to import one page at a time into Ultra Recall using drag & drop, copy & paste, or the import wizard.

The only way I see to get get multiple retrieved web pages from Meta Products Offline Explorer into Ultra Recall (or any other app) is to export the pages (to file) then import into the other app. You can import the exported .html files (on disk) into Ultra Recall also using drag & drop, copy & paste, or the import wizard.

One issue I did notice is that Offline Explorer doesn't retain the title of each page (they all seem to get named the same as the main page) when imported into Ultra Recall...

If that doesn't answer your question, please provide more detail about your request...

Hallo Kevina thank you there is not the problem to import one or several files one by one.
What I want to do is to import the whole website, downloaded with meta explorer and exported to one folder.

I can import this folder with the respective function import folder, but if there is a link on one page to another page downloaded, UR will open the file from the export folder so I must keep the export folder too on my harddisk.
Therefore I though when I can import a website by http.//www............ i can import let me say a local web site with file:/........... and can than delete the export folder and jump from one linke to the other in UR adn surf the website within UR..

For small websites I do this sometimes with Plucker for my Palm were the http:// is substutied by file:// and then the offline web-seite(the one exported from meta explorer) is converted to Plucker.

Oh, know I see what was my mithunderstanding,

In UR I can only imprt from the web one page by entering the url I cannot import a website, the function is
web page and not web site.

we say in germay you are on a wooden way, translated word by word which means you are in the wrong box
Thank you
Hartmut
