Paste Single (with Logical Link)
 

I suspect this might be a feature request but I thought Id ask here in case theres a way to accomplish this using the existing feature set.

Heres the scenario...

1. select multiple items of a branch in the Child Items pane (many of these children are in fact hierarchical)
2. copy
3. Paste -> Copy Single to a new branch

This is great because I lose all the hierarchy behind the pasted items. However, I also lose the logical link to the original items themselves. Id like to maintain the link so that if I update the original Child Items name or other attributes, the copied (linked) items also update.

I guess Id like a Paste->Link without hierarchy - if that makes sense

A UR item displayed in the tree inherently includes its children (this is fundamental to UR's design), so you can't logically link to an item without including its children.
