Thanks for the offer to look at the database but it contains sensitive information spread throughout the database.

That being stated, is there a future request to add the ability to password protect individual items and or to password protect individual words, if I had that ability I could have easily sent you the database?

I use the quick search a lot throughout the day ( more like rely on it ) and when it works, it is great but then all of a sudden, nothing. I exit out of UR and launch it again hoping that might be the problem, but it does not correct the searching. I have even rebooted and that did not help. It only works when I have compacted with resetting all system information to the defaults.

I will try to look for a pattern on when it stops working and let you know what I find.

FYI - I am using the portable version, not sure if that matters.

I don't think that this problem is related to your upgrade to 4.2. I have not done that yet and the symptoms you describe seem to be the same as mine.
