I would put this suggestion in the "it would be nice" category, less important than things like Outlook sync or filtering the Data Explorer tree, but thought I would throw it out there for future reference (OmeaPro has a feature like this):
It would be handy if, when an Email was copied into UR, it was automatically linked to any existing Contact which had an email address that matched the From field of the email (the Email item would be the child of the Contact).
UR would also have a "Senders" InfoItem and a new Template called "Sender" which contained only 2 attributes: "Display Name" and "Email Address". If no Contact existed that matched the "From" attribute of a newly created email, then UR would automatically create a Sender InfoItem (child of the "Senders" InfoItem). The user could at any time change the Template Item of a Sender InfoItem from Sender to Contact. When an email is deleted, all linked Sender InfoItems that no longer have any children and that were not converted to a Contact InfoItem would be deleted.
So you would dynamically always have links from Contacts or Senders to email sent by them... easier and more convenient than creating an Advanced Search on the From field.
