Creating new text styles is a nice feature and easy to use--although some may not even realize it's there at first!

Recently, I added a style by mistake and just want to delete it. However, when I go to Format | Style... and select the unwanted style in the dropdown box, the Delete button remains grayed out.

Only OK, Cancel and Help buttons are enabled and Help doesn't mention anything about deleting a style. Maybe I'm missing something obvious...

Select some text of that style, or set the current text to that style, then return to the Style dialog and Delete.

Discovered something interesting: on one of my computers (UR Pro 4.1a) I don't even have to take these extra steps to delete a style. The delete button is enabled as soon as I select a style. Deleting a test style worked as expected. However, on my other computer (UR Pro 4.1), even if I select or set text of/to a style, the delete button is still disabled.

I'll be upgrading to 4.1b shortly, but I see this issue isn't listed in the version history...

Strange. You might try using different versions of the rich edit control.
