What did you enter in the List Values field?

If another flag name (other than the first) is 'pending', entering just 'pending' in List Values won't work because it's not unique for all values. Each of the 7 list values for Flag must be distinct.

What was the contents of the List Values field before and after modifying?

Hi Priority
Financial
Foloup
Maybe
Daydreaming
Waiting
Completed

I'm wondering if 'pending' is used in some other attribute not connected to the flag list & thats where the conflict is.

We have been unable to reproduce this behavior. Please ZIP and send or post:
1) The info from Help | About | Install Info
2) Run RegEdit and export the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kinook Software\Ultra Recall\Options"
3) A sample .urd file and detailed steps to demonstrate the problem

Thanks.

Thanks. Kinook, I think I found the problem. I use GTD & in @category, I include 'pending' in my list.

We created multiple attributes (including one named @category) with List Values that included the value 'pending' and were still able to change one of the Flag list values to 'pending'.

"A sample .urd file and detailed steps to demonstrate the problem".... what's the easiest way to get my urd to you w/o my personal data?

Either start from a sample database w/out personal data or copy/save as your db, open the copy, delete all private data, empty recycle bin, and compact.

In the .urd file you sent, the Flag attribute's List Values does contain 'pending':

Hi Prioriity
Financial
Foloup
Maybe
Dreaming
Waiting
pending

Did you try to change this field value to something else that resulted in the error, and if so, what (copy/paste the entire field value that doesn't work)?

Maybe -> Pending
Maybe -> Kinook

Entering

Maybe -> Pending
Maybe -> Kinook

in the Flag's List Values field in my_export.urd and clicking OK works in my tests. Entering

pending
kinook

does not (expected, since the 7th value is already 'pending').

Went back & with separate saves was able to accomplish what I wanted, i.e. rename pending -> color 1, save, etc. then went back & renamed pending as 2nd step & it stuck.

My mistake was simply changing the order around which didn't communicate to UR that title had changed w/o save in between.
