Hello,

I just did a fresh install of URPro, imported a number of items from outlook into their respective folders (Calendar) and (Tasks), and was using it all when it started throwing the above errors.

At this point, it's displaying only one Task item and any attempts to navigate away from that item, or choosing another item gives me "The Parameter is Inccorrect" errors.

These errors vary from "Error loading items: The Parameter is Inccorrect" to just "The parameter is incorrect".

How can I get past these and start using the product again?

Steve

Hi

I had the same problem - it was fixed in the same release number, try re-downloading and re-installing - the problem is now fixed for me.

If you don't have UltraRecall.exe version 3.1.0.2 in Help | About | Install Info, re-download http://www.kinook.com/Download/UltraRecallProEval.exe and install again.

I have the latest UR - 3.1.1. I just created a brand new database. Dragged and dropped 18 Tasks from Microsoft Outlook 2007 - and now I am totally unable to do anything else due to "Error Loading Items the Parameter is Incorrect"...

This is very disturbing since this was meant to be fixed ages ago. I've duplicated and triplicated the problem - trashing and recreating a new database and importing a few Outlook Tasks. The same error happens every time - making the database totally unusable. Compact and Repair doesn't work as it is blocked from running by this same error.

What now?

Please ZIP and send or post:
1) The info from Help | About | Install Info
2) Run RegEdit and export the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kinook Software\Ultra Recall\Options"
3) A problem .urd file

Thanks.

Thanks for the sample. It's a similar error message but a different issue causing it. The latest download at http://www.kinook.com/Download/UltraRecallProEval.exe (3.1.1.6) has been updated with a fix for this issue.
