Is there a way to use OpenOffice as the internal RTF editor? In following the directions for setting up MS Word for that role, some of the options do not become available for OpenOffice.

Ultra Recall uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, etc because they can be hosted inside of Internet Explorer (which is hosted by Ultra Recall).

Open office applications (at least their text editor) can be hosted in Internet Explorer, but the implementation is essentially readonly which would be of very limited usefulness within Ultra Recall.

Still hoping to combine the USB version of Ultra Recall 3 with the Open Office (and other tools) available at http://portableapps.com/suite that run from a USB stick.

Have you ever tested the portableapps.com version of Open Office with UR?

Has anyone tried Open Office calc. It creates all kinds of XLS files. Don't know why this wouldn't be conversant w URp.
