When was ur: protocol introduced?
Hopefully, a simple question to answer.
I have 3.5e (pro and not portable); it doesn't seem to work.

Looks like around v3.0. Maybe try reinstalling UR.

OK, thanks for reply.
Tried a fresh install of URp 3.5e on XP 64-bit VM to no avail. Then installed eval 5.0, 5.0 works perfectly. Will save up in order to upgrade
