VBScript integration in Visual Build does require VBScript in Windows. So far, they only say, "VBScript will be available as a feature on demand" and don't indicate when it will actually be removed. So you might need to install the feature on a future version of Windows. Eventually, you may need to use an older version of Windows if it does get removed. But this could also end up like Internet Explorer /
MSHTML, where Internet Explorer has been removed, but the programming component for embedding IE functionality in a program via MSHTML still exists. We'll have to wait and see, but I have a feeling it will be a long time until it's completely gone.
