Automated Folder Contents - Smart Folders

There is one feature from ZOOT that I'd really like to see in UR. That is the concept of Smart Folders. The contents of the folder is programmable and dynamic. The "filter" would be based on something like a saved search except that you wouldn't have to execute the search manually each time you wanted to see or update the contents of the folder. In addition, the results would be persistent and visible in the Data Explorer pane rather than just in the Search Results pane as they are now. Also, the details pane wouldn't be filled with the search parameters.

Is this something that fits the UR archtecture? Do others think this would be useful to them?

I would welcome such feature.

One could choose what do with the found item ... either to move it/or internally link it to the "smart folder", that would be nice.
