How to prevent automatic opening of linked documents?
 

Is it possible to select a (document-template) item consisting of an imported pdf-file without automatically opening the pdf-file? I find it very annoying if I just want to select a pdf-file-item in the tree in order to assign keywords or modify its attributes and each time the pdf-file is automatically opened.
It would be convenient if one could control the opening-behaviour of items, e. g. if selecting an item with the Ctrl-key pressed would prevent opening the pdf-file.
